Well, took it to dealer and at least I do have warrenty (one year).  He told me it was fine and diidn't blow fuses.  They had it one shore power all night and worked fine.

Being a surley senior I said show me.  So we went to the trailer, unplugged shore and turned lights on…nothing…the fuse was blown…wonder of wonders.  Anyway, he firmly belives that a low battery, 35 amp power supply and a 20 amp fuse on battery is a problem.  I didn't believe it until he shorted across the 20 amp and the fan in the power converter immediately went to high speed.  His theory is that the power converter senses low battery and puts out max to charge it and blows the 20 amp.  I didn't believe it until he put a 25 amp fuse in and everything worked fine!

By the way I called the factory and they said it was bunk…that the fuse blew because of a loose connection or some other reason..guess we will see.

And got only 12 mpg towing with my 2008 ridgeline…disappointing  I used to tow a scamp side dinette 16ft with the same truck.  The scamp weighs in at about 2800 and I routinely got 15-17…go figure…less weight and less mpg.  Guess it is all about aerodynamics!
