BA15 or 1156 if you're going with LED bulbs.

Are they as bright as the std bulbs? If they are think you have the name of the vendor you bought them from still?

That's strange.  My bulbs are all wedge base… T10, I think they're called.  You have me wondering if KZ varies their bulb types.  I had 3 LEDs with the 1156 style base all ready to put in when I brought my E14RB home, only to find that they were the wrong base.  I bought warm white wedge base LEDs from ledtrailerlights.com but there are other sources as well.

These LEDs only draw 10% to 15% the amps as the standard incandescent bulbs.  They will provide a nice advantage when boondocking.

My 2010 16 uses the 1156 in the interior. The amber outside light does as well. Not sure about the parking & tail lights.

The post about wedge type got me thinking, stopped by storage to check it out, and I have the blade type.

Glad I checked before I ordered anything!!

1156 here as well.  And I'm going to start changing mine out.

Since I have 3 of these that I can't use, I've decided to post them in the 'swap shop.'  Maybe someone else would like them.

I forgot to mention, my wedge base LEDs appear to put out about 2/3 as much light as the former incandescents.  But it's plenty of light for this little trailer.  Even if I turned on an extra fixture to get equal light, I'd still be pulling far less amps.  For the times when I'm boondocking in the woods this will be helpful.

OK … I have to admit that you all got my curiosity up. So I checked. I have the wedge style bulbs as well. At first I thought it might be a Canadian vs US thing, but I see that Mike in Tulsa also has the wedge style bulbs as well.

Is it maybe a year thing??  Mine is the 2011 E14RB (Spree Escape). It makes no sense to me that KZ would use different bulbs.

I can't imagine that I would want to be changing out my bulbs for LED ones that are costing upwards of $25.00 each. I realize there might be less expensive ones out there but I don't see any value in changing them till I need to.

I understand that they (LED) use less power … but I'm not sure that it would be an issue for me. I find that in most cases one light on in the evening is more than enough for me.

Thanks Steve for the website.  I recently bought a 2011 13fk and it had wedge base "921″ bulbs.  I ordered led bulbs from http://www.superbrightleds.com on Sunday evening and got them in the mail 3 days later.  Bulbs worked great and do not generate any heat.  Really nice improvement.  These bulbs have 12 led's per bulb.  I paid $5.95 per bulb and $2.99 shipping.
