We purchased a new 19sb on May 4th. Our first big outing with it was this weekend. We awoke to find a very wet floor… apparently the water pump had a significant leak in it! Being former tent campers, we did without using the pump and made do till today, when we could contact our dealer. As we were doing a walk through before leaving it, we noticed considerable warping on the counter above the refrigerator. The salesman at the dealership also pointed out a sizable crack in the facing around the air conditioner that we had failed to notice. Is this the trend for the sportsman brand?? I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about our purchase now. We were only in it to sleep this weekend… will it even hold up to actually having people inside and moving about??? What is everyone else's experience with this model? It was brand new, 2011 model!! Help!!!!

We have a 2011 19SB that we bought late last fall.  We used it on atleast 5 weekend camping trips as well as a 200 mile out of state vacation for a week in December.  We have had no problems (knock on wood) thus far.  We haven't used the water pump much as we are usually hooked up to city water, but the few times we have used it, we haven't had any problems.  Our heater made it through some cold winter nights and our air conditioner just made it through the Memorial Day weekend 100 degree temps of Texas (we have a rooftop air conditioner; however).  During our trip in December, we had 7 adults in the camper walking about and opening Christmas presents.  So, I would have to say that thus far, it has been holding up well.  We have had one electrical outlet go out on us.  Not really sure what is up with that and hope that the others will not do the same but other than that, we have had nothing but enjoyable times in our little camper.  Sorry to hear that you haven't had the same experience.  Frown

glad to hear that yours is holding up. We have a long road trip planned in July, so imagine my hesitation since we have had these issues. The dealer we purchased from replaced the water pump today. said 7-10 days to get parts to repair the counter and facing… guess we will see how that turns out…Thanks for the reply!

Someone else had a problem with a leaking water pump. If I remember correctly, it also happened on their 1st trip. Maybe the connections are not being securely fashioned & we all may need to check out our own.

As I was cleaning our TT this weekend, I noticed that the water spray could get into the fridge vents. I wonder if this may contribute to the warped counter? I am certainly going to try to fashion a fix so water will not get in & be standing on the floor under the fridge.

There was no water anywhere near this countertop!… In the SB19 the counter is above the refrigerator, I could understand if it was a water problem… this just flat out warped… even the dealer was a bit amazed.
