It happened. Flickr, which has hosted lots of sites and allowed us to post pics in our posts across the internet has removed the feature allowing you to use the HTML from a picture on your Flickr account to show it in another site.

They say "it's because if it's uploaded to their site it becomes their proprietary property and you will have to link back to them to view the picture."

I say that's B.S. and removed alll my pictures from Flickr (a Yahoo company) and will be reposting pictures with Photobucket instead. Also cancelled my Flickr account because I don't see how they can determine that my uploaded picture is now their proprietary property.

So if you are looking for the shower pics or axle pics, they will be back in a couple weeks as I get time to repost them to the web.


Sorry for the inconvenience, but I can't stand when big companies force stuff or remove stuff they have allowed for years to the ordinary person.

I was still able to link a photo by using the "share this" dropdown menu.  Is it something changing in the future?
