Just Recently completed our first real trip in our 19BH. Ohio to Crystal River Fla. Approx 2400 miles total. TT towed great behind the envoy even in the West Virginia and Virginia mountains with four kayaks on top of tv. Would love to post some pics if anyone can tell me how to do it. I followed the insructions but no options appear when i click on tree icon. If any one is looking for a nice place to stay on the gulf side i highly recomend encores crystal isles resorts. A total of 3 classics in the park one was a 14rb i believe that sat empty the entire time.

I had some real concerns over towing with my 6 cyl after reading some opinions on here, but I can tell you I had plenty of power along with controlled braking and almost no sway.

Ok I figured it out and posted a few pics. I also forgot to mention I did the couch to bed mod as posted by deconblue and it worked out great. saved us from taking down the dinett each nite. These tt do sit a little low so I had to get a extended drop receiver for my equilizer hitch to get it to ride level. I bottomed out once or twice geting gass pulling out of uneven driveways at the stations but figured I would so I took it slow so there would be no damage. The 8000 btu kept in nice and cool with the florida sun. For the $ ITSS HARD TO BEAT THESE LITTLE TT!

Hi!

Glad to hear about your great trip.  I, too, have to say that 6 cylinders get short shrift on these forums.  My wife and I recently took our 2012 Classic Sportsmen 200 out to Washington DC from Wisconsin.  1,000 miles each way and over the Appalachians to boot!  Our TV is a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country with the factory tow package ( heavy duty battery, engine/tranny cooling, alternator and load leveling and 3.8L V6 )  She performed beautifully with little or no sway and we averaged 14MPG.  The secret to success is to perform each recommended service when it is due and keep the speed down.  We rarely went any faster than 55 and when we hit the mountains ( grades up to 7% ) we did slow down to 45 or so.  No big deal and a very comfortable, enjoyable trip!
