Hi everyone,

Fairly new on the forum – been lurking, but it seems like there is a wealth of information here. My family is considering a 19SBT, and would love some opinions. There's 6 of us (4 kids – 2, 6, 8, and 13 and then 2 adults). We'd be looking at adding the optional 2nd tent end on the 19SBT so that there's room enough for all of us to sleep.

What are folks thoughts on the 19SBT – anybody on here own one? I'm particularly curious how the fold out tent ends seem to be holding up.

Have a great day everyone.

Al

Someone with a 19bh had posted their AC unit was not enough to hold down summer temps. Has KZ put a larger unit in the 19 foot models?

From back in our popup days, the only problem with the tent ends was lack of soundproofing.

The side bath layout is my favorite. We almost got another brand that had this layout. At that time, I don't think KZ had the SBT. We went with the 16bh (choices at the dealer were 16bh, 19bh, and the 14s)

Good luck with your choice.

Thanks. I saw that post about the AC. While we're not big on AC while camping, when you want it, you want it to be nice and cool. The 19SBT can have a 13.5k btu roof mounted AC, which I think we'll go for if we get it. We've been in tents for years, and we mostly state park camp, so sound is not a concern for us (and since most state parks don't have hookups, neither is the AC much of a concern).

Ive never had a hybrid just a pop up trailer but I have friends who have a hybrid with both ends that have pop out beds. They have told me the only problem theyve had with theirs is the front bunk area leaks when they are driving down the road in a rainstorm. You might check on some of the other rvnets and see if other hybrid owners experience any difficulty. As far as ac goes, friends of mine have a fairly large pop up (8 sleeper) with a roof mounted ac unit and when I went into theirs set up at camp this summer when it was 100 degrees out it was cool as a cucumber in there. I am not sure what size ac they had but it sure did the trick.
