Took the 14RK to our local lake this weekend. Had a wonderful time, weather was great and no mishaps. I did forget to put the lock on the hitch coupler before we left the house that was sitting on top of the propane tank…so lost the lock, and was happy that the coupler stayed hitched to the lake without the added safety of a lock.Used a bent down nail on the way back. Here is a picture of our campsite.

Kim, how come your photos only show your TT?  Would be nice to see, at least the back of you, sitting by your camper.

Yes campsites right on the water are hard to find these days, but this one is our local lake and we're very lucky. It was kinda strange looking out my back kitchen window,as I was preparing dinner,  you couldnt see the ground, only water so it made me feel like I was in a houseboat!!

Looks like a relaxing site Kim. Fun Laugh

I always carry a couple extra bolts, nuts, and lock washers for the ball lock just in case. Why….? Same thing happened to me years ago. Embarassed  Our next trip is in 3 weeks and we can't wait. I hope to have a lot of the "modding" done by then.

We're planning on posting some pics of our camping trip and hope more of us on the forum do as well. I don't care for the limitations of this forum software or the poor communication (none!) by the owner/moderator. I do like the members and interaction though. If we could get our active members to agree I will set us up a forum where we have more control and more features. ( Nothing fancy but more interactive and intuituve.)

Steve you can count me in as far as wanting a  more moderated and multi functional forum. I belong to other forums where posting pictures is easy wiithin your post, also you can post a poll too.One of the things that irritates me the most is the order in which the posts are posted..I would like to see the last post posted first if that makes sense. As it is now we have to go to the last page to see current postings. Suggestions for what others would like to see in a forum would be helpful.

I appreciate your offer to help us , I hope the active members here take up your offer as well.

You might want to look into these two web sites for ideas.  Just a thought.

There are several formats that work very nicely.  At one time, I was interested in the R-Pod and A liner.  Both of them have great groups with much better software than we have.  Steve, you might look into these formats and maybe it could work.
