Sounds like an incredible trip! Great campsite and lake view… More pics please! And an excellent testimony for the 14RB. BTW how cold did it get at night? Did you run your heater much on that tank of propane? Ours has the factory 16,000 BTU heater so don't know how it compares but hope to use it for some fall camping soon.

I'm jealous of your mileage – I barely do that well without the trailer :(

What size solar panel do you have and do you have it permanently mounted?  Boyfriend has mentioned getting one to keep the batteries topped off.

Sounds like a great trip – except for the lack of courtesy of the other campers – sheesh.

Thanks for the great review of your trip. I just ordered the 14RB but won't take delivery till spring 2011. I have several major trips planned. ROUTE 66 ADVENTURE; ALASKA ADVENTURE and NEWFOUNDLAND ADVENTURE. Plus dozen's of small trips in between … all over the next three – four years.

I am interested in your solar panel to supplement battery charge and have started a list of accessories to get before I start my trips.

Thanks again … great review and very informative.

Regards

Karsty

GREAT pictures … I can't wait to start my North American Odyssey.  So many beautiful places to visit. Hope I have time to get them all in. :)

Almost wish I was getting the trailer now. :)

P.S. – I mentioned how well our camper is insulated…..

Ha! That's weird about the ice… I'd say it's well insulated alright. We tried out our factory heater this weekend just to test and knock the chill off the early morning air. It worked really well… warmed up the camper in minutes… but set the fire alarm off…lol. I guess the oil and paint from the factory had to burn off. It should be ready for some chilly fall camping now!

Wow, pictures are awesome! You should hit the road with the 14RB as a full-time travel photographer…. Would be nice to get paid to travel. Smile Thanks for the pics!
