How do you drain the fresh water tank in the 14RB?  I can see the tank and a valve, but when I turn the valve, nothing drains out. There is about 1/2 tank of water and I won't be using the RV for about a month or two. There has to be a way to drain it. Thanks for the help from everyone.

On mine I have to pull the valve up to allow the fresh water tank to drain. Turning it does nothing just like you said.

When I wanted to drain mine last April I switched the pump on and ran the toilet till the water quit.  It helped clean the black tank.  I haven't checked to see if that left any water inside the tank.  Guess you have me wondering, I might need to go look sometime.

When I first filled my fresh water tank the water was "leaking" out. Had no idea what was happening. Then I remembered the valve the dealer showed me during orientation. I turned it to the left and I turned it to the right. Nothing!! Finally I pushed that darn think in and volia!! The water stopped leaking out.

Is there a way of putting a valve on the outside rather than digging into the inside to get at it. I have to move my single mattress to get at it. Although it is doable, it is just a pain.

I will try Mike Magee's method initially, but for the winter here in Canada that won't due. It will have to be winterized … but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
