Hi all!!

I hate to  have to admit this, but I learned something from my wife yesterday.  We were camping with our 14rb and it had poured rain all day the day before.  The sides of our trailer were covered with black streaks.  I made a trip to WalMart and spent $5 on a commercial product supposedly designed for just that purpose . . . . . . . which didn't work at all.  ( Go figure! )  She came out of the camper and presented me with a little cup of coconut oil and said innocently, "Here, honey . . . . . . try this."  Much to my amazement, it immediately dissolved the streaks and with very little effort left our trailer looking showroom new!!  Score one for the wife!  Try it, you'll like it!

Hi Julie!

Thanks for the post.  Camco was the brand I bought and I followed the instructions to the letter.  It did absolutely nothing to remove or even reduce the streaking.  Maybe the stuff that is streaking my trailer is different from the stuff on yours, dunno!  My siding is the white, slatted aluminum you see on so many TT's.  Somebody at the campground suggested WD40 would do the trick as well.  Have not tried that yet, but I will.  Again, thanks for the post!

+1 for "awesome" at the dollar store, works and only costs a dollar with a sprayer!

You could also install the rain gutter/drip rail from CW and significatly reduce the streaking in the first place, and possibly add the gutter extensions as well…..

I have seen those gutter extensions at Walm**t here in Texas. You might check your local store. I haven't tried them but they are on my list.
