I have a 2011 19SB.

Seems that on hot days the A/C doesn't evenly cool the entire TT. In fact, the bed area is somewhat warm, even with the A/C set on 73/74 degrees @ High Cool. Also seems the A/C cycles down/off frequently and the temp goes up to high 70's / low 80's then kicks in again to bring the temp back down to desired setting.

Is the cycleing / lack of cooling in the bed area common?

Appreciate any input.

I'm assuming you have the window unit A/C.  Unfortunately, the design of the 19sb makes it difficult for the air to circulate to the front bed.  Maybe using a fan to move the air might help.  The cycling is normal, otherwise there may be issues with the coils freezing.  You may try setting the ac a few degrees cooler, so that the change in temeperature between cycling isn't soo great.  I have a 16rbt with the roof top air and during cycling one can feel the rv getting warmer.  Just make sure the fan is always on and that only the compressor is cycling on and off.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. Yes, it's a wall mount unit. We use a small fan…not much help.

Any 19SB people out there with any input????

16BH owner here.  And ours came with a 5K BTU wall unit that just couldn't handle the TX summer heat – almost but not quite.  I've upgraded to a 6.5K BTU unit and we use fans.  I have one really small one that I can hook over the pantry knob so that it will blow on the bunk.  And we have used a 10″ oscillating fan on top of the closet.
