Hi, Homebody!

What progress have you made with your new 13FK, since we last talked?  Have you made a test run?  Tell us all about it.  Photos welcomed.

first trip this week…don't know how to do photo's..took out table 38 lbs and put in 24 lbs of 1×3 1/2″ more room and less weight. Hung a Ikea basket in the corner. Put up decor in the bathroom. Working on a small gutter for the air conditioner..I'm so excited.

Hi, Homebody!

Am I to understand that you are leaving your bed up all the time and guessing that you may have plans to eat on the picnic bench, outside.  We like to prep the food outside and eat on the picnic bench, too.  What kind of a device are you building for channeling water away from the ac?  I and several others are quite probably interested in your ideas on this.

NO have a small fold up table for inside or outside…slats for the bed are less weight 24 lbs compared to 38…put slats down for sleeping and in morning pick up all but three and put in cabinet for storage..then I have a end table to put stuff on and lots of floor space. Wish I knew how to do photo's on this site. Easier to see than explain. Did the same thing in my Aliner when I had it.

How to add photos to you post :

When creating your post, first click on the button that looks like a photo of a tree.  Then click on the button to the right of 'Image URL" that looks like a magnifying glass. A new window will come up, from there select the Upload tab.  Click browser to find the file on your computer that you want to upload.  Click upload.  Once the file has uploaded, click on the Browse tab and then click the image you just uploaded.  Finally, click insert to insert the image into the post.

Ok think I got the pictures figured out. Had to be on a host site.  Lots of room w/o the table. the 1 x 3 1/2 slats for the bed. set up with back for single sleeper. set up with cushion & back for two people. 3 boards left for end table for coffee etc. I use a small folding table to eat on.

Ok today's mod was getting the 32 lb's chip board out. When I had my aliner they has light weight wood for the storage lids. Only took 8 years to find out the wood is LUAN a bit pricey but I put in braces since the aliner was only 20″ and KZ is 24″ wide. Lowes only had 24″ x 48″ so there's still a 6″ gap which I'll put in a solid brace. Doubled up on the luan just in case. Luan and the brace are only 19 lbs compared to 32. As you can see I put up a small wall on the water tank side for winter & light stuff. Working on a drop down drawer for pens paper, aspirns stuff you need without looking for it. I'm not finished with it yet. Got the idea from a spice rack. Wink
