Has anyone found a cover for the 2 burner suburban stove top? We are always cooking outside so more counter space would be nice.

If you google "Suburban 2 burner cooktop cover", you can find them.  It looks Amazon used to carry them and there are several rv parts stores that have them.  I didn't try eBay yet.

Welcome Towerdan,

Haven't really found a premade cover but I configured one last weekend which fits perfectly and cost is $9 at Walmart.  Buy one of those folding TV trays with the medium stain (The stain almost matches the cabinets in the trailer)  Basically take it apart and remove the legs and other wood pieces from under the table top.  Then take the cross bar from between the legs and cut into 4 equal length pieces, I think for mine it was 1 5/8″ (these will be the legs for the cover).  Set the 4 legs at the 4 corners of the stove cover, add wood glue and carefully place the tray table over the legs so it is evenly spaced over the leg pieces.  Let the glue dry and you have a perfect stove cover.   I would post a picture but I am having problems with that since last weekend.  Have to contact the administrator about it.  If I can get it fixed I'll post pictures.

I want to say someone else here also did this.  I got the idea from them.  Check some of the other modification threads.

LaughHi, We always cook outside so I also made a cover for the range. I cut a piece of plywood, put nice wood edging on it and found some 3″ (approx.) screw in table legs at Home Depot. Painted it and then we got some wildlife sticker of moose, bear, elk etc. and stuck them to the top. We coated the whole thing with some clear epoxy from a craft store. It was fun to do and it's personalized!
