Sue – in another post, you said you were going with 300 watts of solar.  Are you mounting 4 of these panels then?

Uh-Oh, I was replying to your second question, that is, what size do you need!

However, I do have a 130W panel mounted to the roof rack of my TV; a 2004 GMC Safari.  Plus I have two of those 85W panels on order. The two 85s are going on the van and the 130 on the TT as soon as I can figure out how to attach it.

We used the van as a power source last year when we were still pop-up camping.  The 130w charged an aux battery via a Morningstar SS-6 controller.  I ran both an AC and DC cord to the pop-up for lights and computer.

We did buy a 12V refrigerator(Edgestar 45) which was placed in the van last year.  This setup ran sucessfully 24/7, however, the fridge died 3 days out of warranty.  I got my purchase price refunded, but it cost me $117 in shipping.

The two 85s are to run a 2.7cf dorm fridge.  In addition, I will be adding a battery separator so that the aux battery can be charged while driving.

I'm probably getting too far into the weeds now.
