As human nature is to modify things to make things better,

THESE MODIFICATIONS ARE DONE SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Yes most of these modifications are done to improve the KZ Sportsmen Classic trailers, to make them last longer, more camper friendly, and some improve upon the manufacturer's original intended design.

BE SAFE! DO THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

There are several modifications here that can potentially pose a risk to personal property or life itself.

Please read the posts, ask questions, and if you feel at any moment that you would not be able to do any part of the modification proposed, please seek knowledgable or professional help, be it a Dealer, KZ-RV engineers, or someone knowledgeable in what you are about to do, plumber, electrician, welder, carpenter, etc.

WE HERE IN THE FORUM (moderators and members) WANT YOU TO BE SAFE, PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO PLAN AHEAD BEFORE TEARING INTO THAT ELECTRICAL BOX, OR CUTTING THAT WIRE OR PIPE, OR SAWING THROUGH THAT PANELLING.

AND IF YOU DO DECIDE TO DO A MODIFICATION THAT REQUIRES CUTTING OR DRILLING OR TAMPERING:

1) DISCONNECT ALL SHORE POWER FROM THE TRAILER

2) DRAIN THE WATER OUT OF THE LINES

3) DISCONNECT THE BATTERY GROUND FROM THE BATTERY

4) SHUT OFF THE PROPANE TANKS, DISCONNECT AND REMOVE THEM FROM THE TRAILER.

Seems like a lot, but this extra work can potentially save your life.

Hit a charged LP Gas line, potential fire. Cut a live wire, electrocution or fire or both. Cut into a waterline, leaks galore, plus $$$ in water damage.

THINK SAFE, WORK SAFE.
