It looks like you drilled and bolted the wheels to your skids. I attempted to pinch bolt mine but they slipped last weekend when I tried them out for the first time. I'll have to do the same or weld the bracket to the skid.

i saw somewhere online a drag bar with a metal roller built in.  this may be where i go in the end however i would have to have it installed.  i looked under my trailer today however to see what could be squeaking ( another poster was having the problem) and was reminded of the early 70's when "muscle cars" were all jacked up.  i guess if push came to shove i could have new shackles fabricated to give me a little more clearance but i guess that would mean having to put slicks on the camper. ( this will mean nothing to anyone under 40).  Laugh

As a kid in the early 70s I recall seeing shackles that must have been a foot long! Real safe.
