Hello all,

The mattress in the tent trailer I owned, before my 16bh,  made my wife's back sore. I bought a 2″ thick chunk of dense (not quite memory) foam and wrapped a sheet around it secured withe safety pins.  Much improvement.

I trimmed the foam to fit my new TT and it makes setting up and taking down from dinette to bed easier. I roll it up and put it on one of the bunks during the day then reverse the process at night.  We like to sleep on a sheet with a comforter, If you use a sleeping bag on the cushions with no sheet this is of no advantage. I did this with out trying the cushions with out the foam so I can't judge any comfort improvement with the foam ( but there probably is ).
