For the most part the interior lighting for the 14RB is good, except when lying in bed reading. The single fixture at the center of the forward lockers really does not work. I'm thinking of installing a couple of directional lights above where our heads rest, probably mounted underneath those lockers towards the side wall.
Has anyone done this, or variations of this?
And what type of light might be used?

Hi Mike:
See my post earlier in the Modifications section of the forum on the swivel-head battery operated LEDs I installed for just the reason you mention: better directional light for reading or whatever in bed or at the dinette.

Thanks, Jim.
Unfortunately, when I clicked on the Amazon link, they are out of stock for this item and not sure if it will be available again. And it looked excellent!

Just recheck and found this on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ…..B003AFRLAO Is this what you have? I only ask because the price seems to have almost doubled, but if it is what you have, it would be worth it.

Yep, those are the same lights I bought last summer for half of what they're priced at today. I'd think twice before buying them for twice the price they sold for last summer. There might be other options. Google "battery operated LED spotlight" and see what comes up. Two of these, for example, would be cheaper than the Amazon lights:

Thanks, Jim,
Going to shop around a bit more, but you certainly helped me get focussed on options.
We head out mid-June for a good trip to Nashville via Santa Fe NM, San Antonio TX and u the Natchez Trace, then home through Lincoln NB, up through the Dakotas, and across on US2 and back to Kingston WA.
It will be good to have some modifications, such as lighting, done for this.
