I picked up my KZ Sportsmen Classic 16FKTH and have it parked in my driveway.  When I was spinning down the factory installed stabilizer jacks I noticed they don't have a flat base or foot on them.  Has anyone found a foot or pad to add to these?  There are holes on the side that look like a aftermarket foot pad could be added.  I'm on conrete now and it is not an issue, but I plan on camping in some rural areas that may have dirt pads and i don't want the feet sinking into the ground and feel a foot pad would help create a more stable base.

I made my own out of some scrap ripped treated 2×6 attached with some L-brackets.  The first set of brackets I bought ended up being too light and twisted, but the beefier ones I got after that seem to be holding up just fine.  I thought about buying the fabricated ones from BAL as well, but…I can't see it's worth the expense.  Picture is below.  They've since been painted black to match everything.

I made mine with 3/4″  plywood cut in an octogon shape and painted black. I used carriage bolts placed up throught the bottom and crushed the plywood until flush. I used nylon lock nuts for the cross bolts to allowed enough looseness for the arm to rest aginst the wood when the levelers are extended.

Thanks All.  These are great money saving ideas.  I bought my KZ with 4 stablizers and probably have enough scrap wood laying around and a few L brackets in my shop that I may only have to pick up a few bolts and lock nuts.  Like the idea of painting them black too.  Laugh

We just got some jack pads that we stick under the jack feet when they are needed.
