Shopping early for a COOL location, close to Texas, and affordable to spend three months or so away from the hot Texas summers. Anyone have any recommendations? We're first time campers, loving our new TT and looking forward to a summer getaway. *SMILES Cool

Close to Texas and cool in the summer – right!

Is Colorado close enough?  Or the mountains of New Mexico.

I camped in the mountains of Colorado last year and the weather was perfect!
