I have been looking for a small camper/toy hauler for my son and I to haul our motorcycles around and then have some where to relax while there besides in my truck.  Started looking a couple months ago and the only real option was the 14ft Classic toy hualer.  I did some research and decided this was going to be what would fit my needs the best and in the future.  I was ready to buy a 14ft and then found out it was going to be discontinued and replace by at 16FKTH.  I then had my dealer check this out, which was interesting as they didn't even know about that my research discoverd.  So on Feb, 5th I ordered a new 16FKTH toy hauler.  Not sure of delivery date yet, but I am excited.

Welcome to the Sportsmen Classic Community!

I'm sure you will actually enjoy that extra 2' of space.  We had just about decided on a 14RB when we found the 16BH for the same price.  Having that extra 2' gave us lot more storage.

Yes, pfix, welcome!

Actually the difference between the 14xx and 16xx has been 16″, with 180 to 200 lb. Unloaded Vehicle Weight gain……17' 2″ - 15' 10″ = 16″.

As I understand it, Kz-Rv moved the 14FKTH into "Special Order Only" category.  The 16FKTH allows for one 4-wheeler up to 87-inch length X 50-inch width to fit in the rear area.

Weight of TH (2260 Lb.) + ATV (700 Lb.) + cargo (up to 560 Lb.) can be supported by the ST205/75R14 tires…..2(1760 Lb.) = 3,520 Lb. Load Capacity.  Load Capacity or Safety Margin can be increased by 220 Lb. with use of the next size ST215/75R14 C-rated (50 psi cold).

Pfix, when you speak of two motorcycles, are you referring to Off-road or street bikes?  If street bikes, I question the additional rear TH weight behind the axle, off-setting tonge weight…..if too great, will cause a TT sway problem to perhaps a dangerous "out of control" level.

I have  2 dirt bikes I plan on hauling in the Sportsmen Classic.  I have a Honda 450x and my son has a 50cc bike.  We are going to use the toy hauler for Hare Scramble races in Iowa and Illinois this year.  We did a couple last year and there is a lot of down time and living out of the pickup truck was not that much fun.  The Sportsmen Classic will be great to hang out in before and after the race and having our own bathroom willl be great.  Looking forward to mid March for delivery.  Thanks for all the detail and weights on the 16fkth.

I got a call from the Dealer and my Sportsmen Classic 16ft Toy Hauler is in.  I go to pick it up on Saturday morning and do the walk through with dealer.  The timing could not be better as I have a motorcycle race on this Sunday in Illinois and will get to take it on it's madien voyage the 2nd day I have it.  How Cool !! Cool My son will have a place to hang out after he races and when I'm racing.  The following week a group of us are going to Mississippi Palasadies for an adventure race and we can take the Classic now. Laugh
