I had been thinking about purchasing a Casita, but recently discovered the KZ Sportsmen Classic and Spree Escape via an advertisement for the 2011 RV Supershow next weekend at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

I have some experience towing tandem axle cargo trailers, but never an RV trailer and never a single axle trailer.  I look foward to learning from you all.

I'm a truck guy, but with higher gas prices smaller vehicles and smaller RV trailers are now more appealing to me.

I have a V8 Ford Explorer which has towed my 6,000 lb cargo trailer with ease. It's higher mileage and I'm no longer comfortable taking it on long trips. We're thinking of replacing it with the new generation Ford Explorer rated at 5,000 maximum towing to tow our future RV trailer. So I've been reading all the posts about towing with lighter duty vehicles with great interest.

Welcome to the boards.  We have the 16BH and it's been a good camper so far.  I pull it with a 2002 F150 with well over 130K miles – and we just went almost 2000 miles in both.  DBF is a truck driver and says he doesn't really notice the TT back there although I do – I'm not as used to towing.
