Hello all,

Im from the state of Michigan and I have a son who will be 2 on Christmas day.. I was out looking at hybrid campers yesterday and what choices and decisions to make.. Let me start by saying I'm a huge camping fan it doesn't matter if I'm camping out of my kayak, backpack, tent camping, pop up(which I just sold YEAH) or rv camping. So I really am turned on by this hybrid camper light weight  I really have it narrowed down to the escape spree or the classic.. Models are the 16rbt or 19sbt.

I will be pulling with a hyundai entourage mini van which I pull a lot of boats and other stuff with.. And my second tow veh for now is a Kia Sorrento..

As a new hybrid camper what am I missing when I look at these or is it cut and dry wha you see is the price difference ? What are the up and downs of these models.. A week before Christmas and I still need a present for myself.. Plus they are offering amazing savings up here in the winter months of Michigan.. Please all input would be great… the only thing I want to stay with the hybrid style…

Thanks

Brian and son Travis

I own a 16RBT, and love it. When the bed is down and the flaps opened to expose the great outdoors, it is much roomier than it appears when closed. My wife and I take our four dogs boondocking all the time, and it serves the purpose well. We have made your typical modifications to it, but did add a solar panel & a 12VDC TV.

Good Luck.

Well I decided to go ahead and buy a 18rbt… That is if I like the layout. Since the dealers don't have one around here I have to wait a few weeks to see the interior..

Im very excited for many years of camping ahead of us…
