Thought I had better post here & introduce myself, since I have been replying to some posts.

Got our 16bh & have made a few changes. We made a test run on Memorial Day weekend. That helped me to see what changes I would like & the equipment needed to run the trailer – I learned pretty quick that I need a charcoal lighter to light the water heater  Yell . So I am just about to finish with our mods to the trailer & get everything into shape.

Thanks to everyone for the very informative posts.

Hi Matthew

We also have a 16BH, just waiting for it to stop raining so we can take it out for the first time :)

It's great how people are slowly starting to join, it's fun to share info and tips with other owners!

Hey, at least you will know your trailer is waterproof. We had a bunch of bad weather for the 1st 2 weeks after we picked it up & it was frustrating (but we had no leaks)

Welcome, Lynne.

Donna and I just got back from a five day trip to SE Minnesota to visit daughter/son-in-law and it rained every day.  TT did not leak.  We sort of boondocked at their hobby farm.  Extreme SE Minnesota is referred to as the "driftless area", since was not touched by the glacier in the last Ice Age…….very hilly, deciduous forest type.  Bet it's loaded with Trilium and other spring flowers in April and May.  I did spot lots of Maiden Hair Fern in the hills close to the several trout streams……(attention Sportsman Matt / Matt P.)  A Mountain Lion / Puma crossed our path, while traveling to LaCrosse, Wisconsin (50 miles to the NE).  There have been more and more sightings in recent years.
