We pick up our new 16BH tomorrow after our walk-through.  This is our first RV, though I have done tent camping in the past and still enjoy it.  In Texas, it's just too hot to tent camp comfortably from about mid-May to October.  So I'm sure I will have lots of questions and am already gleaning information from these boards.

I will be sharing my new trailer with my 6'6″ boyfriend and 2 furbabies – lab mixes.

One modification we are having done is having the top bunk cut off flush with the restroom wall and the "headboard" next to the closet cut down.  Since I don't have kids, and can't see the dogs climbing up there, the top bunk would only be used for storage.  This way we can actually use the bottom bunk as a daybed/sofa without having a permanent lump on the back of our heads.  The 20-24″ that we are keeping will be suitable for bedding storage.  I will post pictures in the modification threads when I get the trailer.
