We had a wonderfull time camping at the peacegardens.Every year on the second weekend of July a bunch of Amateur radio operators get to gether for a camp out. We call it a hamfest.This was the 48 th year for it. There is great fun- happy hours- prizes and a dance Saturday night. There is breakfast on Sunday morning.
You don't have to be a ham to attend.
It costs $22.00 to camp( water and electrical ) – dump station on site. If you register for the hamfest it is only $11.00 per night to camp .
