Developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) as a State Park in the 1930's. Located on the banks of the Santa Fe River it has 61 camping sites, nice showers. A little rustic since it's one of the oldest SP in Florida. Lots of hiking trails, and close to many springs for swimming and rivers for tubing or kayaking or canoeing. Lots of wildlife. We saw deer, lots of squirrels, woodpeckers and more. Maybe 15 miles off I-75.
