Gosh, all I got was a packet full of install and user guides for the things they bought and bolted in. i put a brochure in there just so i could reference tank caps. and such. i know we bought a cost down trailer however reference material covering things like wheel bearing maintenance, bulb size specs. roof care, etc. surely would have not added that much to the bottom line. sorry to be cranky, i just seem to keep turning up little things that make you go MMmm. The trailer is spending the week at an authorised norcold repair facility (northgate rv for those of you near by) I suspect they are going to tell me that the reason the fridge does not work is that it cant breath properly from the snooping that i have done about which may not set well with me. film at 11.

Don't feel bad. Most of us got the same bag of appliance manuals and installation instructions, none of which help when you got questions about winterizing the trailer, sanitizing the waste water system or explaining the water pump etc.
This subject came up in the fall of 09. If you contact Rose Yoder, KZ-RV Consumer Relations. I just sent her an email at the KZ site, and she not only mailed me a hard copy of the maintenance and care manual, but also emailed me a PDF copy, so I would have something immediate in my hands. I personally have a theory on this whole thing. I thing the dealers purposefully, don't give them to us so we have to be more dependent on them and use there maintenance shop for things we can actually do our selves. Had my KZ dealer tell me one was not available at all. Bought a different trailer this spring (different make, and they told me they didn't make manuals for trailers this small?) Contacted the manufacturer and sure enough, immediately sent me a link for a PDF download. Just angers me when they lie like that to the customer.

It sounds like the dealer I purchased my 16bh from is an exception, it came with a couple of manuals. A specific 16bh and a general rv maintainence manual.

well, when its all said and done, it was 10 grand cheaper than our second (sometimes first choice. it went back and forth) choice casita with more amenities. i guess we will all learn together the proper care and feeding of our campers. thanks all, we will endeavor to persevere.

Hi Carol:
Is there a link to the owner's manuals that we can download or can you post the link. I don't get mine for a couple of weeks but wouldn't mind checking it out so I look somewhat intelligent when the the dealer goes through it with me.
I'll certainly question them if it doesn't come with a hard copy of the manual.
