We were considering going out there last week to kayak some on the river but was afraid that the water would be too low and the ground too hot. I was actually looking at Loretta lynn's ranch as an interesting  campground option. a little pricey, but hey, its Loretta lynn's ranch.  The other runner was the koa a few miles away. Some of the campgrounds  that i looked at around the river seemed to cater to a younger crowd and some just seemed questionable so i decided that i needed to stay mainstream on this one.

I spent a week on that river when i was a boy scout 40 years ago and wanted to do a little float for my birthday.  Unfortunately, that was the last time that i was there and i have no current knowledge of the area.  i do know its a beautiful river, not quite as nice as yall's buffalo but it'l do.
