sink tailpiece

on our last trip, and the one before we found water dripping under the sink.  long story short,, the sink tailpiece (attaches directly to the sink then to the pea trap) was either cut too short or the main line dropped away somehow which is unlikely.  it is supposed to go down into the pea trap about an 1 1/2 inch or so, and ours stopped just at the top  of the pea trap.  it appears to be a 4 inch piece.  i had to order (because its black) a 6 inch replacement from lowes and just installed it after cutting about 1/2 inch off.not an expensive repair but it could be if left to rot the cabinets.

  this post is just informational just in case you find the same thing on your rig. 

i also installed a max-air II vent cover on the main vent.  very niceCool
