Does anyone know what the beam that runs across the back, just above the taillights, is made of? Would it support the spare tire if a bracket was fabricated to bolt to it? Maybe could brace it back to the bumper. I have put a cargo carrier on the back to haul bicycles and would like to move the tire out of the way, but keep it's weight on the rear of the trailer.
