I camped here mid-June of this year.  This is another place where we're not talking wilderness.  In fact, far from it.  With 484 campsites on a relatively small patch of land, your neighbors are never very far.  That said, I'd go back in a heartbeat.  Located at the intersection of the Merrimack River and the Atlantic Ocean, recreation opportunities are abundant.  You can boat, fish, kayak or swim on the Merirmack, lay on the beach or swim in the Atlantic on Salisbury Beach, or head on up to the arcades and play away.  Hampton Beach in NH is but a stone's throw away, as is Newburyport, MA and several hundred resturants between the three locations.  The campground amenities aren't anything to write home about, and I was glad to have my Sportsmen Classic with me.  For the size of the place it is seriously under-equipped with bathrooms, but I didn't hear anybody complaining.  If you go, make sure you have lots of both water hose and electrical cord.  My electric was 75' away, and the water was 100' distant.  You get used to seeing hoses and cords strung out here.  Dumping is done at a two-hole station on the entrance road.  If you're staying any lenght of time, one of those honey wagons is probably a good idea.
