Am interested in hearing from other Sportsmen Classic owners what they are using to power their RV while dry camping or staying off-grid somewhere.

Specifically, I would like to know if anyone has used or is using a Honda EU2000 generator to run their RV… it's the model we're looking at.  (I understand there are other similar models out there but few have the near legendary reliability of the Honda generator.)  This generator only indicates a 20A capability (and the 16BH wants a 30A hook-up), but I'd have to think it will run our A/C unit if that is all that is drawing a load.

Any input would be appreciated… never been a fan of re-inventing the wheel!

Did you ever get the Honda EU2000 and if so how is it working for you? I just ordered the Sportsman Classic 14RB and will be doing some boondocking over the next 3-5 years.

Any information would be appreciated.

Even when I am plugged up to regular AC at the house or a campground I cannot run the air conditioner and my micro at the same time…it always trips the breaker.

If you're plugged into 30amp and can't run "everything" at the same time….then you have a problem. Get it checked!
